what we collect.
This main website records first-party visitor activity and chat interactions to help our team understand visits and provide support. This notice describes those features.
What is recorded
When the main site loads, its server can record your IP address, browser user agent, language, reported timezone, page path and title, referring page without query parameters, visit times, and periodic activity updates. A session cookie links visits in the same browser. Each page load has a separate identifier so multiple tabs can be distinguished.
Focus and chat activity
The browser reports whether a page is visible or hidden, whether its window has focus, whether the chat is open, and whether focus is inside the chat. We record elapsed time and approximate visible, focused, and chat-focused time. These signals do not prove someone is reading. Closed browsers, device suspension, connectivity, or blocked scripts can interrupt recording.
What is not captured
This activity feature does not record keystrokes, passwords, text typed but not sent, screen recordings, other websites you visit, precise location, or the contents of other tabs. Page URL queries and fragments are excluded. An IP address can be shared or represent a VPN; it does not establish a person’s identity.
Chat messages and access
If you send a chat message, your chosen name, optional email, message content, and timestamps are stored separately with the conversation. The team can connect a conversation with its recorded activity. Visitor information and history are available only through the authenticated operator inbox, not to other website visitors.
Storage and controls
Activity is stored on our hosting account, independently of whether an operator has the inbox open. History is retained until removed under our retention policy; there is no automatic short-term expiry configured for activity. No third-party analytics service receives these records. Your browser can restrict cookies or block scripts, which can also affect chat functionality.
Scope of this notice
This feature operates on the redesigned public main site. Separate hosted applications have their own behavior and are not instrumented by this activity recorder. Existing service-specific privacy and contract terms remain separate.
